NORTH ATTLEBORO - In preparation for Flag Day, Gy/Sgt. Paul E. Robitaillle of American Legion Post 49 has placed flag disposal containers at the town's three fire stations

The public is asked to deposit unserviceable American flags so the flags can be respectfully disposed at a special disposal ceremony on Flag Day. Disposal containers are located at fire stations on Elm Street, Kelly Boulevard and Allen Avenue, and at town hall.

The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at Barrows Park.
