Top Headlines Eleven-year-olds Katie Kroll and Molly Trowbridge, along with classmate Molly Shield, raised more than $2,000 for autism through a bake sale last Valentine's Day, said Katie's mother, Maureen Kroll. The fifth-grade girls were among the 40 youths selected across the state and nearly 2,000 kids honored nationwide through the eighth annual Kohl's Kids Who Care Scholarship Program. They will receive certificates of recognition, $50 gift cards to Kohl's and a chance to receive a $1,000 regional scholarship to be awarded in July.
