To the editor: We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to Deputy Fire Chief Puleo for taking the time to speak with a representative from our group. It is such a comfort to know that the answers to so many questions are readily at our fingertips. Chief Puleo was a wealth of information and without notice, spoke at length on topics such as staffing, the state of our equipment, the different types of mutual aid and how they operate and ended the conversation with an invitation to the fire station. He truly could not have been more accommodating. It is people such as Deputy Fire Chief Puleo that consistently remind us how fortunate we are to live in this community. Again, thank you for not only protecting our community on a daily basis, but also respecting the residents of Mansfield enough to encourage and answer their questions.
