Patrick to visit Rehoboth
Top Headlines Patrick will visit Rehoboth at 6 p.m. on July 29 as part of a five-week, 11-date town hall meeting tour of the state beginning Tuesday in Salem. Patrick said the meetings are open to the public as part of the administration's goal to make state government as accessible as possible. In addition to those sessions, Patrick plans to hold four public meetings with his cabinet in locations outside the Statehouse. The closest to the Attleboro area will be held on the same day as the Rehoboth meeting in Fall River. The governor says he wants to give the public a chance to offer their observations and ideas on issues from education reform to health care. "As we continue to rebuild our economy and our people, it's important that all our residents feel part of these initiatives," the governor said in a statement. "I look forward to hearing from all of my constituents on issues they care about most, and how the state can be a better partner to local communities."
