Top Headlines REHOBOTH - Forever Paws Animal Shelter will hold a clam boil from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the South Seekonk Gun Club, 61 Reed St. Tickets are $30 and are available by calling the shelter at 508-677-9154. Participants may bring their own alcoholic beverages. In addition to food, a highlight of the evening will be a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Kylers Seafood. Church sports camp will start on July 28 REHOBOTH - Community Covenant Church's annual sports camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 28 to Aug. 1 for boys and girls ages 6-12. Camp cost is $70 per child if registered by June 15. Discounts are available for additional siblings. Summer programs at Oak Knoll REHOBOTH - Staff from Mass. Audubon's Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary will be on hand for half-day programs for elementary school-aged children, focusing on the wonders of the natural world, at Fitness Mom Studio in Rehoboth this summer. The curriculum is enhanced by outdoor explorations, hands-on activities, crafts, and non-competitive games. Hours are 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. with pre-camp, half-day morning, and after-camp options available for a combined full day of programs. Fee is $250 per two-week, half-day session. Rehoboth Church to hold yard sale REHOBOTH - The Rehobolth Congregegational Church yard sale will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at the church at 139 Bay State Road, Rehoboth, MA 02769. Donations to the sale may be dropped off at the church office starting July 7 during office hours from 9 a.m. to noon. Rehoboth seniors plan special events REHOBOTH - Meetings of the Rehoboth Seniors Citizens Club are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month, except July and August, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hurrell Senior Center, Bay State Road. The annual picnic will be held at Francis Farm at 11 a.m. Aug. 28. There will be chowder and clamcakes at 11:30 a.m. and entertainment by a country western band Jeannie Lovering & Chameleon from noon to 2 p.m. Hot dogs and, burgers will be served at 2 p.m., followed by bingo, bocce, horseshoes and more. Carpenter Museum seeking crafters, antique dealers REHOBOTH - The Carpenter Museum is seeking crafters and antique dealers for our annual Folk Art, Antique and Artisans Show to be held this year on November 8, 2008. This well-known show will take place at the historic Francis Farm in Rehoboth. With great ambiance, plenty of space, parking, and a restaurant on-site this is an ideal setting for celebrating the arts.
