FOXBORO - The son of celebrity stylist Vidal Sassoon is among two heads of a high-end salon and spa eyed for Patriot Place in September.
Foxboro's Green Tangerine Spa and Salon will be the fourth opened by Elan Sassoon and business partner Michael Barsamian, Barsamian said.
The other locations are in Burlington, and in South Windsor and Canton, Conn.
The Green Tangerine will offer everything from massages to body treatments, as well full hair services, Barsamian said.
"We'll have experts in hair color," said Barsamian, the founder of the Lord's and Lady's Hair Salons.
Patriot Place, on Route 1 next to Gillette Stadium, is perfect for newest Green Tangerine, he said.
"The kind of traffic that it will generate and the kind of people who will go there, it's really our customer base," Barsamian said.
The Green Tangerine will be open seven days a week, and located next to Davio's restaurant, Barsamian said.
Construction of the space, which the salon will rent, will start within two or three weeks, he said.
"All of the furniture will be from Italy - very, very high end. It's going to be very nice," he said.
Green Tangerine will be located in the northern end of Patriot Place, which will be more entertainment oriented than the completed southern plaza. |
