Attleboro - All Saints Anglican Church, 1188 South Main St., Attleboro invites you to worship Sunday at 8 and 10 a.m. with the Rev. Lance Giuffrida. This week’s readings: Genesis 28: 10-19; Psalm 139; Romans 8: 12-25; Matthew 13: 24-43.

All Saints Episcopal Church, Rev. Dwight Fortune will preside over the sermon, with text from Genesis 28:10-19a, Psalm 139:1-11, 22-23, Romans 8:12-25, Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43. Sunday school will be at 10 a.m., as will Holy Eucharistic. Nursery provided.

Attleboro Advent Christian Church, Elder Ray Cobb will lead a 10 a.m. worship service with a sermon entitled “What Is God Like?” with text from Psalm 19.

Candleberry Chapel, Saturday services at 6 p.m., Sunday services at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Kenneth Boyle will lead a sermon entitled “Tough Questions, Prayerful Answers” & “Ask the Pastor a Question,” with text from Proverbs 10:1-9.

Centenary United Methodist Church, This week, Rev. Nancy Collins sermon is entitled “Living A Spirit Filled Life,” with text from Matthew 14:24-30, 36-43 and Romans 8:12-27. Sunday worship is at 10 a.m. Evangelical Covenant Church, The service will feature a sermon with selected readings with Robert D. McNaughton, transitional senior minister; Rev. Jay Fast, associate pastor for youth and family ministries; Julie Stevens, minister of music. Worship services will be at 9:30 a.m.

Faith Alliance Church, The worship service will be at 9:30 a.m. The service is entitled “A Relationship That Transcends Life,” with Rev. Tom Boisclair reading from Psalm 105:1-4.

First Baptist Church, Sermon “Gate of Heaven,” with text from Genesis 28:10-19a and Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43, with Rev. John Fisk. Worship at 9:30 a.m.

First Church of Christ Scientist, Sermon topic is “Life,” with text from the Bible and “Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy. Sunday service, Sunday school and nursery at 10 a.m. A testimonial service is held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Good News Bible Church, The church will hold a “Lord’s Supper” service every Sunday at 9 a.m. Sunday school and “Celebration and Growth” worship and teaching service is held at 10:45 a.m. Steve DuPlessie will continue his series “Questions Skeptics Ask: Answers to Hard Questions,” entitled “Does God Exist?”

Immanuel Lutheran Church, The sermon will be based on appointed texts with the Rev. Julia Haspel-Schoenfeld presiding. Worship and Holy Communion begins at 9 a.m.

Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, This week’s service is held at 10 a.m. Please join us in the Unity Room for the first of our lay-led summer services.

Second Congregational Church of Attleboro-UCC, A sermon by our guest pastor, Rev. Nancie B. Mooney, Hand-made in Heaven,” with text from Psalm 139: 1-12, 23-24 will be held at 9 a.m.

South Attleboro Assembly of God, The sermon “Extreme Makeover Home Edition — Protecting Your Marriage From Sin!” led by Rev. Ronald Squibb will text from Exodus 20:14. Morning services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Evening service at 6 p.m. Christian education classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m.

St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish, will feature a Saturday Vigil Mass at 4 p.m., Sunday masses at 8, 10 and 11:30 a.m. Cumberland

Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, The church, located at 690 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland, R.I., will conduct worship at 9 a.m. through Labor Day.

Foxboro

Bethany Congregational Church, Traditional Sunday morning worship service will be held at 9 a.m. and Contemporary music service will be held at 10:30 a.m., both in the meeting house. Children join us for the beginning of the worship service, and then are dismissed partway through for their summer church school classes. Child care is available for children up to age 3 in the nursery.

Foxborough Universalist Church, The Foxborough Universalist Church is on summer sabbatical.

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, The church holds a contemporary worship service at 8:30 a.m., Christian education starts at 9:45 a.m. and a traditional worship service starts at 10 a.m. with Pastor Rick Schlak. Fellowship hour is held at 9:30 a.m.

Mansfield

Faith Fellowship United Methodist Church, The services, under the direction of Pastor David Arruda, are held as follows: A casual service at 5 p.m. on Saturday, family worship and Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and a worship service at 7 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be a “Clothes to Go” clothing pantry open on the first and third Friday each month from 7-9 p.m. and the second and fourth Saturday from 9-11 a.m.

First Christian Church, The worship service will be titled “Forgiveness of Sins,” and will feature text from Ephesians 1:7-8 with Pastor Brian Pendleton. Service at 10:30 a.m.

Orthodox Congregational Church, worship service will include the text Pentacost 10 and be led by artist Claire DeCusati. There will be a Taize prayer service at 9 a.m.

Norfolk

Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sunday worship service at 9:30 a.m., Rev. John C. Ames will lead a service entitled “Keeping the Lampstand in Place — Laodicea: Dining with Jesus,” with text from Revelation 3:14-22.

North Attleboro

Central Congregational Church, Worship will be held at 9:30 a.m., with a sermon “God’s Green Earth,” with selected text and be led by Guest Lay Preacher Carolyn Clark.

Cushman Union Church, Deacon Jay Hobson will hold a sermon “Nathan,” with text from 2 Samuel 12:1-14. Morning worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school will resume in the fall.

First Baptist Church, The worship service will be held at 10 a.m. and the service will be led by Rev. Robert Middleton with selected text.

First Congregational Church, The church will hold only Sunday Summer Vesper services at 6:30 p.m. during July and August, with Sunday morning services at 10 a.m. scheduled to resume in September. The sermon topic for the 6:30 p.m. service will be “Search and Know,” with text from Psalm 139:1-12 with Rev. Katrina Clinton.

First United Methodist Church, The 10:45 a.m. worship service will be led by Rev. Peter Parent with a sermon entitled “Wheat and Weeds,” with text from Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43.

Grace Episcopal Church, The sermon will feature text from Isaia, Romans, and Matthew and be led by Rev. Maryalice Sullivan. Holy Eucharist service is offered on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. A Holy Eucharist and Healing service is offered on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. A special three-hour prayer vigil will be held after the 9 a.m. service. The prayer vigil is in honor of the bishops of the Anglican Communion who gather in England at the Lambeth Conference. This year’s conference runs through Aug. 3. All are welcome to join the prayer vigil for our bishops.

John Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church, Sermon with selected text held at 11 a.m. with Rev. L. Allen Powell. The church is located at 32 Broad St., North Attleboro.

Living Waters Christian Church, Services will be held at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. with pastor Tim Hatch preaching a sermon “The House of Flexibility,” with text from Mark 2. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own Bible.

North Dighton

North Christian Church, The sermon, “If You Believe You Will See the Glory of God,” will feature a reading from John 11: 28-44 and be presided over by Pastor Michael Del Tatto. The service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school will be provided during the service, and a nursery is also available.

Norton

Chartley/Norton United Methodist Church, The sermon, with selected text, will be with Interim pastor Rev. Harry Rix at 10:30 a.m.

Pawtucket

St. Leo the Great Church, The traditional Latin Mass will be celebrated at the church, located on 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. The Mass is celebrated according to the 1962 Missal in accordance with permission granted by Pope Benedict XVI. Traditional Latin Music also is featured during the celebration of this Mass.

Plainville

Crossway Church, Guest speaker Chap Bettis, Pastor from New Covenant Christian Church, will preach a sermon entitled “Evangelism for the Tongue-Tied.” Services start at 10 a.m.

Grace Fellowship Church, At 10 a.m. Pastor Jim Rickard will preach a sermon with selected text.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, located at 1 George St., at the corner of George Street and Route 106, in Plainville, will hold church services on Sunday at 10 a.m. and Sunday night prayer revival at 7 p.m.

Plainville Baptist Church, Pastor Dave Meunier will preach this weekend. Services are at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Plainville Baptist Church on South Street.

Plainville United Methodist Church, Worship service will be lead by Rev. Peter Parent with a sermon entitled “To Weed or Not to Weed,” with text from Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43. Service will be held at 10 a.m.

Providence

Vedanta Society of Providence, Every Tuesday through Aug 19, from 7-8:30 p.m., Swami Yogatmananda, at the Vedanta Society of Providence, will discuss “Kabbalah: The Way of Jewish Mystics.” www.vedantaprov.org. No fee. All are welcome.

Rehoboth

Christian Life Church, The church, located on 222 Plain St., will feature an 8:30 a.m. prayer and a 9:30 a.m. service.

Rehoboth Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Sunday services at 8:30, 10 a.m., with children’s Sunday school. The sermon will be led by Rev. Scott Spencer with selected text.

Seekonk

Memorial Baptist Church, Pastor David L. Tripler will hold services every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Sunday school classes will begin in the fall.

New Beginnings Evangelical Church, Pastor Scott Oakland will deliver a message with selected text. Service held at 10:45 a.m. The church is located at 294 Taunton Ave., Seekonk.

Sheldonville Baptist Church, At 11 a.m., Pastor Doug Pettit will preach a sermon “Failure Is an Option, Part 1: Jepthah” with selected text.

Trinity Episcopal Church, Holy Eucharist will be celebrated during the service at 9 a.m.
