Padiddle will pass the time on long drives
Top Headlines Padiddle, a personal favorite, engages everyone. Whether people want to get involved or not, it ultimately happens. Always. A padiddle is a car with one non-working headlight. Whenever the driver or a passenger notices a padiddle, they are to yell "padiddle!" and touch the ceiling of the car. The first person to do this receives one point. However, anyone who yells "padiddle" when there is no padiddle in sight loses one point. The winning number of points is up to the discretion of every player in the vehicle and must be decided upon before the game begins. The accomplishment of gaining the winning point of the game is an indescribable feeling. There are many versions of padiddle, some deemed inappropriate by authority. Strip Padiddle is among the most inappropriate. The outlook is always grim if pulled over by any form of law enforcement during this version of the car-friendly game. During Strip Padiddle, if a passenger or the driver sees a padiddle, everyone in the car other than the spotter is to remove an item of clothing. As more padiddles are seen, the attire of other players gradually becomes skimpier. The driver may opt out from disrobing while the car is in motion, but must reduce their amount of clothing to the level of points earned by others when the car comes to a complete stop. However, for anyone who earns a point in this version, they have the choice to put an item of their clothing back on instead of requiring the other passengers to further disrobe. For those who thrive on rough physical contact, Ultra-Violent Padiddle was designed with you in mind. When spotting a padiddle, the spotter yells "padiddle!" and not only reserves the right to the point, but also the right to punch the person seated next to them. The driver is automatically exempt from this type of physical contact until the vehicle is at a complete stop at a stop light or stop sign. For those who are more sensitive to bruising, like myself, Passive-Aggressive Padiddle is always an option. Rather than target other players as recipients to the punch, the ceiling takes all of the hits. In most cases, any knuckle indentations fade with time. My vehicle has not been so lucky. Rather than turning to a CD, the radio, reading material, or sleeping, all passengers within the vehicle are engaged in a game that can be guaranteed to last the duration of the ride. Padiddle is fun for everyone, even those who play for their first time.
