Ferry - Hoffshire







Westport - Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Ferry III of Westport announce the marriage of their daughter, Carolyn Seraphine, to Charles Ryan Hoffshire. He is the son of Deborah Hoffshire of Berkley and Charles R. Hoffshire of Kingston.

Relatives and friends gathered outside the barn overlooking a pasture of the Westport property on Saturday, August 11, 2007. The father of the bride drove his daughter to the ceremony in his 2007 MX215 Case International tractor. The country wedding was officiated by Pastor Nathan Hall of Pacific Union Congregational Church. The ceremony was followed by a dove release and reception.

The bride wore a strapless, satin A-line gown with a beaded, embroidered lace bodice and draped organza skirt. It featured beaded organza tails and a chapel train. She carried a spray of wheat laced with red satin ribbon.

The maid of honor was Crystal Ferry, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Miranda Ferry, sister-in-law of the bride, Avery Gauthier, Stacey Paradise, Amanda Fournier and Annmarie Lewis. The flower girl was Lily Ferry, niece of the bride.

The best man was Dan Souza, longtime friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Manuel and Matthew Ferry, brothers of the bride, Jarad Jones, Pat Rose, and Donald and Nick Washburn.
Carolyn and Ryan both graduated from Bristol County Agricultural High School in 1999.

Carolyn has an associate's degree in equine business management from Johnson and Wales University. She is employed by National Grid.

Ryan studied criminal justice at Massasoit Community College. He is employed by Venturra Grain Co. in Taunton.

The couple honeymooned in Montana.
