Mello - DiGeorge
North Attleboro - Tanya Mello and Joseph DiGeorge were married on September 1, 2007 at St. Mark's Parish in North Attleboro. Rev. Thomas Rita officiated.
A reception at Raffael's in Walpole followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mello of North Attleboro. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph DiGeorge of North Attleboro.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a satin, white strapless ball gown embellished with Swarovski crystal beading made by Moonlight Couture. A bouquet of red and white roses completed the ensemble.
The matron of honor was Cristina Corbeil, sister of the bride, while Allison King, a friend of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amanda DiGeorge, sister of the groom, Shannon Santos, cousin of the bride, Emily Haahr, friend of the bride, Katy Cella, friend of the bride, and Ashley Arruda, niece of the bride.
Flower girls were Mikayla Corbeil and Amber Arruda, nieces of the bride.
The best men were Steffen DiGeorge, brother of the groom, and Gary Gott, a friend of the groom.
Ushers were Wayne Mello, brother of the bride, Richard Arruda, brother of the bride, Max Young, friend of the groom, and Paul Bois, friend of the groom.
The ring bearer was Daniel Mandracchia, cousin of the groom.
The bride graduated from Northeastern University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
The groom graduated from Westfield State College with a degree in criminal justice. He is a police officer in Pittsfield, N.H.
After a 10-day honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple is residing in Hopkinton, N.H. |
