Dalton - Jane Belknap and Mike Hoffman, of Dalton, and Tom and Barb Scolforo, of Merrimack, N.H., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Scolforo, to Christopher Eighmy, son of Steven and Sylvia Eighmy of North Attleboro.

A wedding is planned for October 18, 2008 at Easton Country Club in Easton.

Ms. Scolforo graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1999. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., in 2003.

She is a marketing coordinator for Silver Hill Financial in Norwood.

Mr. Eighmy graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1999. He earned a degree in criminal justice from Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., in 2003. He works as a private investigator.
