North Attleboro - Gerald and Cynthia Bergeron of North Attleboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn Bergeron, to Zachary Small, son of Robert and Julie Small of Cumberland, R.I.

A wedding is planned for August 2008 at St. Mary's Church in North Attleboro.

Ms. Bergeron is a graduate of Saint Raphael Academy in Pawtucket. She earned an associate's degree in early childhood education from Bristol Community College in Fall River.

She is employed as a pre-kindergarten teacher at Discovery Day Care Center in Plainville.

Mr. Small is a graduate of Cumberland High School. He is currently working as a machinist's mate while on active duty the U.S. Navy stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.
