Lane of North Attleboro, announce the engagement of their daughter Emily to Ian Manning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard White of Natick. Ms. Lane is a 2000 graduate of North Attleboro High School and received a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 2004. For the past three years, she has worked as a recreational therapist at Children's Hospital, Boston and is currently pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy from Worcester State College. Mr. Manning, a 1998 graduate of Natick High School, received a bachelor's/master's degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University in 2004. He is a physical therapist at Sports and PT Associates, in Boston. An August 2008 wedding is planned at Rhode Island Country Club.
