Blake of Attleboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Marie, to Michael Steven Dibbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Dibbert of Chapel Hill, N.C. A wedding is planned for July 11, 2009 in Providence. Ms. Blake is a 2000 graduate of St. Mary Academy Bay View in Riverside, R.I. She earned bachelor's degrees in history and political science from Providence College in 2004. She graduated from St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri in 2007 with a Juris Doctorate degree. She works as an attorney at Flynn & Associates in Quincy. Mr. Dibbert is a 1999 graduate of Durham Academy in Durham, N.C. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from the University of North Carolina in 2003. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in education at Boston College. He is an English teacher and coach at Boston College High School in Boston.
