North Attleboro - Linda and Peter Berg of North Attleboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Berg, to Dr. Charbel Chalfoun, son of Glory and Tony Chalfoun of Marlton, N.J., who are currently residing in Beruit, Lebanon.

A wedding is planned for May 24, 2009 at the Turner Hill Mansion in Ipswich.

Ms. Berg graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1996. She earned a bachelor's degree in cognitive science from Northwestern University in Chicago, and a master's degree in education from Pace University.

She is the assistant principal at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy in Los Angeles.

Dr. Chalfoun graduated from Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in 1996. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology from La Salle University in Philadelphia. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is working as a resident in plastic surgery in Orange County, Calif.
