North Attleboro - Thomas and Linda Taylor of North Attleboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Taylor, to Richard Emery, son of Shane Emery of Bundaburg, Queensland, Australia, and Debbie Emery of Brushgrove Island, Queensland, Australia.

A wedding is planned for January 16, 2009 in North Attleboro.

Ms. Taylor earned a bachelor's degree from Springfield College in 2005, and a master's degree from the University of Wollongong, Australia in 2006.

She was formerly employed as a forensic toxicologist at Calloway Laboratories in Waltham, and as an assistant coach for the women's gymnastics team at Rhode Island College. At the conclusion of the season, she joined her fiance in Australia.

Mr. Emery earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wollongong in 2007. He is a graduate engineer at ABB in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.

The couple currently resides in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.
