Last modified: Monday, September 1, 2008 12:42 AM EDT Motorist in accident faces DUI charge BY DAVID LINTON SUN CHRONICLE STAFF NORTH ATTLEBORO - Police say the driver of a car who skidded off the road at Old Post Road and Mt. Hope Street late Thursday night was driving drunk. Kristen A. Beaver, 24, of Ames Avenue in Wrentham, pleaded innocent Friday in Attleboro District Court. In addition to drunken driving, she faces charges of driving to endanger, driving without a license in possession, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, police said. Police responded to the accident about 11:40 p.m. Thursday, and found a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer stuck in shrubs. Police say there was about 100 feet of skid marks on the road. Beaver was also wanted for failing to appear in Dedham District Court, where she faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
