What's the word?
Top Headlines Central to the controversy is how churches interpret the Bible. Those who lean toward a more literal interpretation of the Bible often see homosexuality as incompatible with Christian teachings. They point to Bible verses which reference and condemn same-sex behavior and Biblical depictions of marriage as between men and women. Those who have a more liberal interpretation of Scripture point out that the Bible does not reference homosexual relationships as we know them today. They often remind people that the central message of Christianity is not about homosexuality, but about love. They point out Jesus never mentioned homosexuality and the parts of the Bible that do are few and far between. Pew Forum lists official positions within major church bodies and other religious groups on homosexuality. You can see them here: http://pewforum.org/docs/?DocID=291

Nor do I care what the churches opinion is on a certain topic. I'm not 8, I can determine what is right or wrong on my own, I don't need to be preached to by people that believe a man rose from the dead and that dinosaurs never existed. "

This is the most amateurishly written series of articles I have seen in the SC in a long time. But it's perfect for the New Age PC feel good world of journalism. We have no new facts but we sure have a warm and fuzzy feeling. 'scuse me while I go to an Obama rally. "
