Top Headlines Campbell took a through ball from Nick Salvo to ring in the match-winner. The Lancers received some strong play at midfield from senior captain Mike Kelly and Colin Campbell in preventing Millis from sustaining an attack. North's best scoring chance came as Sam Ocel's left-footed blast bounced off the crossbar. Sweeper Toby Berkowitz and stopper Colin Flynn had strong games for the Rocketeers. North entertains Oliver Ames on Tuesday. New Bedford 4, Attleboro 0 NEW BEDFORD - The Bombardiers played the Whalers on even terms for 37 minutes, then ran out of energy. New Bedford took the lead in the 37th minute, netted another six minutes into the second half and ran past Attleboro High in the non-league match. The young Bombardiers, with four sophomores starting, kept play at a commendable pace and maintained ball possession throughout the first half. However, AHS was able to create just three shots on goal inside the penalty box area. AHS makes its home season debut Tuesday against Durfee. Blackstone Valley 5, Tri-County 0 UPTON - .The Cougars surrendered a pair of goals during the first half and a trio during the final 20 minutes of the second half in losing their season debut. "We played a solid middle 40 minutes," said Tri-County coach Richard Vernon of the scoreless middle 40 minutes. However, the Cougars did not have a shot on goal in the match. Tri-County returns to action Tuesday at West Bridgewater.
