WRENTHAM - State Rep. Richard Ross had a 100 percent voting record in the legislative session that just ended, House Clerk Stephen James said Monday.
James e-mailed The Sun Chronicle to correct previous records that had Ross voting 99.7 percent of the time.
House records originally had Ross missing a vote on an environmental bond bill.
When Ross, R-Wrentham, saw the record printed in The Sun Chronicle in Sunday's Beacon Hill Roll Call, he called James to double check his votes.
James said a closer look revealed that Ross voted "yes" on the bond bill. House members are allowed to vote up to five minutes after a roll call has concluded.
Campaigning on his record
Ross said he and several other representatives voted at that time.
He said the difference is small but important because he is running for re-election on his record of having perfect attendance.
