ATTLEBORO - The Big Read/Attleboro's 1 ABC will hold a Murder Mystery Night, "Murder at the Juice Joint" at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at The Literacy Center, 80 North Main St.
Participants will join the investigation into murder at The Juice Joint, a swanky speak-easy from the roaring '20s, and begin to gather clues on arrival. No one knows in advance who the murderer or victim is. There will be no rehearsals or professional actors, just a chance to guess and win "The Smoking Gun Award."
Attendees take on a character such as a mobster, flapper, cop, or actress, and join in the fun. Everyone who attends becomes part of the mystery and tries to guess "who dunnit." Choose to be a main character or choose a lesser role - everyone participates.
Contact The Literacy Center to find out more about available roles. Participation is limited to 40 people. There is no cost, and light refreshments will be offered. RSVP to The Literacy Center at 508-226-3603 and arrive dressed in the character chosen.
