Police arrest wedding guest, say he was involved in two accidents
Top Headlines Dameian Bossarte, 37, of Nashua, N.H., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage. Police were called to an accident at the intersection of South Main and Capron streets. Firefighters arriving first found Bossarte leaving the Jaguar he was driving, and climbing the stairs to the MBTA train platform, police said. Initially, firefighters thought Bossarte was running on the train tracks. However, the first officer on the scene, William Monterroso, arrested the Nashua resident without incident while he was still on the train platform. While police were investigating the crash by the train platform, they received a report of a hit-and-run accident at the Attleboro Elks Lodge on South Main Street (Route 152). Police, when they went to the Elks Lodge, found a 2009 Dodge Ram pickup truck with heavy front-end damage. Police have charged Bossarte with striking the parked pickup as he left the wedding at the Elks.
