Last modified: Thursday, October 2, 2008 2:30 AM EDT Try out for city youth basketball travel league ATTLEBORO - Tryouts for the Attleboro Youth Basketball Association travel teams will be held Monday Oct. 13 and Wednesday Oct. 15. Travel teams will be organized for boys and girls in grades 4 through 8. The teams will play in the competitive Metro West league. Boys will tryout at Brennan Middle School and girls at the Thacher School. The schedule for both nights of tryouts is 4:45-6 p.m. for grades 4 and 5, 5:45-7 p.m. for grade 6, 6:45-8 p.m. for grade 7 and 7:45-9 p.m. for grade 8. Registration for travel teams will be held at the tryouts. The fee for the travel teams is $140 and is paid after a player is selected.
