Groups back Brown

State Sen. Scott Brown, R-Wrentham, has announced he has been endorsed for re-election by a long list of labor and civil groups, including the Massachusetts AFL-CIO.
"I am honored to receive the support of such a diverse number of groups, but I am most humbled to have received the endorsement of the voters and taxpayers of my district who have sent me to serve them in the state Senate three times now," Brown said."
Following are some of those who officially support his campaign:
American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), Massachusetts Fraternal Order of Police (MA FOP), the Massachusetts Coalition of Police (MASS COP), the Massachusetts Laborers' District Council, Citizens for Limited Taxation's (CLT) 2 1/2 PAC, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM), Massachusetts Correction Officers Federated Union (MCOFU), Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Police Patrolman's Association, New England Trail Riders Association (NETRA), the Needham Police Association, and the Wrentham Police Association.
Brown will face Democrat Sara Orozco in the Nov. 4 general election.
