TAUNTON - Motorists, bus riders and other users of the state transportation system will have an opportunity to get their two cents in 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Taunton Library.
State transportation officials are inviting citizens to share their observations and experiences concerning roads, bridges, rails and trails as part of a series of workshops to collect public input.
The data, which is being collected by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation, is part of ongoing planning for the state strategic transportation plan.
Monday's meeting is aimed at southeastern Massachusetts. Among topics to be discussed are bus and rail transportation, highway system inadequacies, public transit, intermodal centres, traffic congestion and improvements needed for pedestrian and bicycle safety.
