SWIMMING: Feehan uses depth to down Westwood
ATTLEBORO - Having multiple placements in five events and winning the first five events of the Southern Conference meet, the unbeaten Bishop Feehan High girls' swimming team downed Westwood, 89-79, Friday at Attleboro High's Dentch Natatorium.
Juniors Kendra Cheng (50 freestyle) and Samantha Jankowski (100 butterfly) along with Erin Foley (200 individual medley) each won an event and was a member of the first place 200 medley relay team. In addition, Caroline Steiner won the 100 freestyle, cracking the one-minute mark and qualifying for the MIAA Meet.
The Shamrocks (8-0) return to the AHS pool Tuesday to host Milford.
