The I2 Hornets looked good, despite falling to Easton by a score of 27-13. The Hornets drew first blood when Danny DeGirolamo took a toss around right end and scampered down the sideline for the score. After Easton answered, Cal Oberlander ran a toss around left end, down the sideline, and cutback to pay dirt. Both toss plays were impressive at 50-plus yards each. Easton answered with another TD. The next drive featured a picture perfect pass from Anthony DeGirolamo to the sure-handed Jason Hindman, keeping the drive alive on fourth and long. An early whistle negated the turnover and Easton kept their drive alive. Defensive standouts included Ryan Smith, Joe Robichaud, Chris Copponi, and Jack Barry.
