Top Headlines Laura Ferzoco Audette, 86 MANSFIELD - Laura Ferzoco Audette of Mansfield died Friday, June 20, 2008, at her home in Mansfield. She was 86. Mrs. Audette was the loving wife of the late Arthur J. Audette. Born in Everett on Dec. 29, 1921, Mrs. Audette was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Antonucci) Ferzoco. She was a longtime employee of Texas Instruments in Attleboro. Mrs. Audette was also a member of the Emblem Club in Mansfield and an active member at St. Martha's Church in Plainville. She had lived in North Attleboro for 45 years before moving to Mansfield 10 years ago. Mrs. Audette was the sister of Phyllis Petruzziello of Portsmouth, N.H., Dr. Arnold Fiascone of Melrose and the late Lillian Ferzoco, Alexandro Ferzoco, Gilda Buckner, Erma Raymond and Velia Ferrara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held for both Laura and her sister Lillian in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106), Mansfield on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are omitted. Interment will be in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Laura's memory may be made to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Arrangements are through the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main St., Mansfield. Edwin Ustas, 80 SEEKONK - Edwin J. Ustas, 80, of Border Avenue, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances (Shustak) Ustas. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia (Mazur) Ustaszewski. He had lived in Seekonk for the past 50 years. Before retiring, he was employed for 40 years at Texas Instruments as an industrial engineer. He was a corporal in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He is survived by his four loving children, Karen Cute and her husband Thomas of Pawtucket, Michael Ustas of Seekonk, John Ustas and his wife Kathy of Alpharetta, Ga. and Thomas Ustas and his wife Sherry of Rehoboth. He also leaves his seven devoted grandchildren: Thomas, Marc and Scott Cute, and Brian, Kristine, Kathleen Ustas and Matthew Ustas. He was the grandfather of the late Michaella Ustas. His funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High St., Central Falls, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 320 High St., Central Falls at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Seekonk Animal Shelter, 100 Peck St., Seekonk, MA 02771 would be greatly appreciated. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Seekonk. Irene Murray, 60 TAUNTON - Irene B. (Racine) Murray, the wife of Nick L. Murray, died on Friday, Sept. 19 at Morton Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 60. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Lucy F. Racine. Educated in the Taunton public schools, she graduated from Taunton High School in 1967 and later attended Cape Cod Community College. She worked as a computer assistant in the Taunton school system for over 24 years, retiring in June of this year. She enjoyed working with children in the classrooms, and she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Jason B. Murray and his wife Valerie and Kevin J. Murray and his wife Erin, all of Taunton; a brother, Paul D. Racine of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sisters, Lucille Sposini of Raynham, Denise Bussiere of Attleboro and Claudette Posca of North Dighton; a granddaughter, Gabrielle Murray of Taunton; and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham. Lillian Ferzoco, 87 WATERTOWN - Lillian M. Ferzoco of Watertown, formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at the Epoch of Norton. She was 87. Born in Everett on Jan. 7, 1921, Ms. Ferzoco was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Antonucci) Ferzoco. She was a longtime employee of the Raytheon Corp. in Waltham. Ms. Ferzoco was the sister of Phyllis Petruzziello of Portsmouth, N.H., Dr. Arnold Fiascone of Melrose and the late Laura Audette, Alexandro Ferzoco, Gilda Buckner, Erma Raymond and Velia Ferrara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
