Obituaries were published for Nancy Cavalieri, 51, of Attleboro and M. Edith Proctor, 88, of Alloway, N.J.

Nancy Cavalieri, 51

ATTLEBORO - Nancy E. Cavalieri, 51, of Devonshire Road, Attleboro, a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was the beloved wife of 31 years to Kevin "Corby" M. Cavalieri Sr.

Born Nancy E. Ney in Providence on Feb. 15, 1957, Nancy was a daughter of Celia E. (Gavlick) Ney of North Attleboro and the late James J. Ney. She was raised and educated in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1975.

Nancy was employed in data entry at the former Motorola US in Mansfield for over 20 years and was later employed in information systems at Total Management Solutions in Norton for five years until July 2008. Nancy was devoted to her husband and family and especially enjoyed traveling to the Bahamas with her family.

In addition to her beloved husband Corby and loving mother Celia, Nancy is survived by a daughter, Kristina M. Cavalieri and her boyfriend Kris Carrier of Attleboro; two sons, Kevin M. Cavalieri Jr. and his fiancee Jennifer Megna of North Attleboro and Scott A. Cavalieri of Attleboro; a brother, James Ney and his wife Karen of South Paris, Maine; three sisters, Judith Makowski and her husband Sid of Seekonk, Donna Rogers and her husband Charles of Providence and Suzanne Ney of North Attleboro; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main St., Attleboro.

At the request of the family, visiting hours are respectfully omitted and burial will be private.

Following Mass, an invitation is extended for all to return with the family to the North Attleboro Lodge of Elks, 52 Bulfinch St., North Attleboro for a time of continued friendship and fellowship.

M. Edith Proctor, 88

ALLOWAY, N.J. - M. Edith Proctor, 88, of Alloway, N.J., died on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 in Carneys Point, N.J. She was the beloved widow of James Simpson Marshall.

Born in Calais, Maine on May 30, 1920, she was the dear daughter of Thomas Frederick and May Catherine (MacLean) Marshall. Well educated, she was a graduate of Radcliffe College in the class of 1942. She had worked for the British Admiralty during World War II in Washington, D.C. She worked also as a curator's assistant for the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. She had also earned a Fulbright scholarship.

Formerly of Rome and Grand Island, N.Y., Amherst and Woodstown, N.J., she had made her home in Margaree Harbour, Canada prior to moving to New Jersey in 2003.

She was the loving mother of Alan Marshall Proctor of Westport, Mary Lou Proctor Frank of Alloway and Jean Catherine "Bonnie" Proctor Myers of Wrentham. She was the dear sister of the late Fannie E. Marshall and Constance Marshall, and is survived by one devoted niece.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Trinity Episcopal Church, East Street at Lower Common, Wrentham Centre. Burial will follow in the Proctor Family Lot in the Old Wrentham Centre Cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the R.J. Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
