North Attleboro police: This guy's no sheriff

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Police say a man arrested after a domestic quarrel had blue strobe lights in the grill of his SUV and an Arizona's sheriff's badge, but he was on the wrong side of the law.
Stephen E. Orr, 50, a self-employed carpenter with no known affiliation with law enforcement, was ordered held in jail without bail Monday because he was wanted on a larceny charge in Orleans District Court.
Orr was arrested Sunday morning at 16 Richards Ave. in North Attleboro when his on-and-off again girlfriend called police after the two had an argument, according to statements made during a bail hearing in Attleboro District Court.
Police found Orr outside the apartment house near his Ford Explorer and say they found a small amount of marijuana inside the vehicle and a knife on Orr.
More marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, pipes, a pellet gun and a replica of a .45-caliber handgun were allegedly found in his room on Richards Avenue after a subsequent investigation by officers Robert Curran, Scott Weiner and Keith McPhee. Also among the items was a Tombstone, Ariz., sheriff's badge, police said.
Orr, who is from West Yarmouth but was staying at Richards Avenue, pleaded innocent to three counts of carrying a dangerous weapon, possession of cocaine and marijuana and unlawful possession of blue strobe lights.
Judge David Turcotte set bail on the local charges at $1,000 cash at the request of North Attleboro police prosecutor Christopher Ciccio.
Orr is due back in court Oct. 6.
