Last modified: Wednesday, October 22, 2008 1:41 AM EDT SWIMMING: Feehan finishes unbeaten ATTLEBORO - The Bishop Feehan High School girls' swimming team made it a perfect regular season by taking care of Durfee in the season finale Tuesday, 92-76. Several Shamrock seniors got in on the scoring as Bishop Feehan ended up 11-0. Kendra Cheng (1:57.51) won to start a 1-2-3 sweep in the 200 freestyle, Caitlin Callanan (25.45) took first in the 50 freestyle and Caitlin Schofield (1:08.12) was tops in the 100 butterfly for Bishop Feehan's three individual, first-place finishes. Next up for Bishop Feehan will be the two-day Southern Conference Championships, the Division 1 Meet getting under way Friday with the diving portion being held in Milford. - Also in the Southern Conference, ended its regular season with an 88-82 loss to Notre Dame Academy. Despite the loss, which saw the winless Bombardiers trail at one point 88-19, there were still 10 personal-best times for Attleboro. Lisa Contre had two personal-bests for Attleboro, including a third-place in the 100 backstroke. Maria DiMarzio had a PR to start a 1-2-3 sweep in the backstroke, while Emily Fullerton also had a PR in the 100 butterfly. Fullerton was part of the winning 200 freestyle relay team (with Ashley Balerna, Alicia Dart and Maggie Oliver) which clocked a season-best 2:08.28. Attleboro (0-11) will also participate in the Southern Conference Championships, but the Division 2 portion of the meet will be held Friday in Attleboro.
