FOXBORO - Two public hearings on alleged liquor license violations by CBS Scene Restaurant at Patriot Place have been postoned to Dec. 9 at the request of the police department.
Police Chief Edward O'Leary told selectmen that a legal briefing he received from town counsel addresses the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission's rulings and practices.
"It raises concerns about issues before the board," O'Leary said.
He said CBS Scene did not object to postponement of the hearings.
Selectman Paul Feeney said his only concern would be whether the public was jeopardized by a lengthy delay of the matter, but added that O'Leary's request for the December day implies a level of reassurance.
