Area children cast in Trinity's 'Carol'
Trinity Rep has cast 24 children out of 238 children who auditioned for its new adaptation of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," including two from The Sun Chronicle area. They are (drum roll, please): Noah Pimentel of Attleboro as Turkey Boy & Ghost of Christmas Future; Liam Clancy of Rehoboth as Tiny Tim; and Jeremy Roth-Rose of Rehoboth as Turkey Boy & Ghost of Christmas Future (there are two simultaneous productions).
Performances begin on Nov. 21 and run through Dec. 31st in Trinity Rep's Chace Theater in downtown Providence. Tickets may be purchased by phone at 401-351-4242, online at www.trinityrep.com, or in person at the box office.
Harborside Playhouse, 850 Hope St., Bristol, R.I., will hold a "Hoe-Down" fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, to help keep prices down for Mill River Players theater productions and cover theater expenses.
Beginners are welcome to the square dancing fundraiser. Caller will be Mike PetitBon. Refreshments will be available. Casual dress.
Admission is $5. All donations tax-deductible as Mill River Players is a nonprofit.

The Fantastic Gamm Holiday Auction has opened for bidding. The auction features unique experiences with, and services by, actors, designers, directors and staff of The Gamm Theatre in Pawtucket.
