Tornado watch lifted

The National Weather Service has lifted a tornado watch issued for much of Massachusetts, including Norfolk and Bristol counties.

A wind advisory, issued because of the risk of winds gusting  ver 40 mph, remains in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday.

Local police have reported some street flooding, some wind damage and scattered power outages as of late tonight. The Sun Chronicle is pursuing details and a report will appear later on this Web site and in Sunday's newspaper.

The weather service urges residents to listen to NOAA weather radio or check updates on line at www.noaa.gov/
