Top Headlines DiGregorio, the 1974 NBA rookie of the year with the Buffalo Braves, will run the clinic from 2 to 5 p.m. It is sponsored by Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter, the Attleboro recreation department and Attleboro Youth Basketball Association. The clinic is part of Sutter's efforts to keep young people engaged in healthy activities. He sponsored tennis clinics throughout the county this past summer. The free clinic will be broken down into three groups based on age. Seven- and 8-year-olds will take the court from 2 to 2:50 p.m.; 9 and 10-year-olds from 3 to 3:50 p.m., and 11 and 12-years-old from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attleboro-area children between the ages of 7 and 12 can sign up for the clinic by visiting the Bristol County District Attorney's Attleboro Office at 120 North Main St. or by logging on to Attleboro Recreation's Web site at cityofattleboro.us/rec. Parents or guardians with questions about the clinics can call former Red Sox farmhand Brian Rose, Sutter's volunteer coordinator, at 508-997-0711, or the Attleboro Recreation Department at 774-203-1889. The event is the fourth free basketball clinic in Bristol County offered by the district attorney, and the ninth overall free sports clinic.
