NORTON - School administrators will get 2 percent raises annually under a new three-year contract.
The administrators also agreed to increase their health insurance premium by 5 percent each year, raising it to 25 percent in the third year, Superintendent Patricia Ansay told the school committee.
All new administrators will pay 25 percent of their health premiums, Ansay said.
The officials also agreed to eliminate the buying back of sick leave time for new hires. They also will work for one additional week for no pay.
The administrators and the school board both ratified the deal last week.
Same benefits
The administrators agreed to the same health insurance, sick leave and salary terms ratified earlier this year by school clerks, cafeteria workers and custodians.
The teachers' union is the only bargaining unit facing contract talks, Ansay said.
Ansay said she hopes the negotiations will start in January.
