Wreath stroll Dec. 4 at Willow Crossings MANSFIELD - The second annual wreath stroll and auction will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 at The Village at Willow Crossings, 25 Cobb St. Participants will have the opportunity to bid on wreaths decorated by local sponsors. All proceeds will benefit the Mansfield Ambulance Fund. The event will feature refreshments, holiday music and carolers. Silent auction of the wreaths begins at 4 p.m. and bidding concludes at 6 p.m. The wreath stroll is free and open to the public. Secret Shop coming again in Mansfield MANSFIELD - The Mansfield Social Club will hold its annual Secret Shop from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 6 in the Jordan/Jackson Elementary School cafeteria. The Secret Shop is a place where Mansfield children in kindergarten to grade 5 can go to shop for their families with the assistance of a volunteer "elf," while their parents enjoy refreshments and a raffle in the next room. MWOT holds holiday home tour Dec. 7 MANSFIELD - The Mansfield Women of Today will hold the 2008 Homes for the Holidays house tour from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. The tour will include five unique and festive Mansfield homes, as well as the Mansfield Historical Society House, where there will be decorated holiday wreaths available for purchase. A limited amount of tickets are available. Tickets are $25 each and include the tour, as well as refreshments and holiday tea at the Historical Society House. Tickets may be purchased at Mansfield Bank and Glee Gifts on North Main Street, or by calling Jeanne at 508-337-4552. MWOT will donate proceeds to the Friends of the DIC Fuel Assist Fund, the Mansfield Historical Society, and various projects that the Women of Today run throughout the year to benefit the community. Nurse available at Town Hall MANSFIELD - The Public Health Nurse is available on the third Wednesday of every month from 3 to 4 p.m. at Mansfield Town Hall's second-floor meeting room. The Public Health Nurse will be available for blood pressure and blood sugars on a walk-in basis, and for immunizations by appointment only.
