BASEBALL

BASKETBALL

The New England Colonials International Basketball Club invites applications for its basketball tour to Scotland scheduled for the April 2009 school vacation; Ambassadors team for boys in grades 9-10 will visit and play in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Falkirk; for additional information, please contact the New England Colonials at (508) 668-1935 or by e-mail at necolonials@aol.com.; interested parents and players may learn more about the program online at the team's Web site located at www.NewEnglandColonials.net.

The Sherwood Sports Complex in Seekonk will be the site of a Fall/Winter men's basketball league; this league is for players 18 and older; the League is looking to start up in mid-October and run through the rest of 2008; there will be a 10-game schedule plus playoffs; team fee is $600 and must be paid by or before the first game of the season; games will be played on Wednesday evenings; for more information, call Ray Cantelmo at 508-674-9724.

GYMNASTICS

SOCCER

Attleboro Youth Soccer Spring Travel online registration currently open at attleborosoccer.com.; no paper registrations will be accepted; open to boys and girls U9-U18, Some exceptions can be made for younger kids; $70 individual, $130 for two children and $150 for 3 or more, Late fees ($15 per player) apply after Nov. 11 for U9-U14 and after March 3 for U16-U18; registrations entered after these dates may be subject to a waiting list.

TRACK
