Share the love with cards for seniors
Community VNA Private Care is inviting the public to participate in its annual "Share a Valentine with a Senior" program. The cards generated will be distributed to local seniors who live alone, are home bound, or are Meals on Wheels recipients.
Participants are asked to buy or create a Valentine card that would be appropriate to share, sign the card (first name only) and add an uplifting note or wish.
Do not address or seal the envelope.
Where to drop off cards
Drop off cards before Jan. 20 at Community VNA, 10 Emory St., Attleboro, or at one of the following Chamber of Commerce offices: United Regional Chamber of Attleboro, 42 Union St., Attleboro; North Attleborough/Plainville Chamber, 31 North Washington St. Suite 5, North Attleboro; or the Tri-Town Chamber, 15 West St., Mansfield. There will be a collection bag in each location for dropoff.
This project is also welcoming seniors at Christopher Heights and Canterbury Woods, Epoch Assisted Living and the Village at Willow Crossings to join project coordinator Stacey Hiltner of Community VNA Private Care for a card-making session at each of their residences.
