Last modified: Monday, January 12, 2009 2:15 AM EST Casting director kicks off North lecture series NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North Attleboro Cultural Council will sponsor the first in a three-part series of winter guest lectures at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13 at the SOTP Playhouse/Cafe at 39 North Washington St. The first lecture will feature Anne Mulhall, casting director with LDI Casting in Providence. Mulhall and LDI Casting (www.ldicasting.net) have been casting both principal and background actors/performers for feature films, independent films, television, corporate videos, and commercials. Notable films and projects include "There's Something About Mary," "27 Dresses," and "The Brotherhood" (the Showtime series). Mulhall will speak about her experiences in the casting business and give practical tips to persons interested in participating in these film projects as either principal or background performers. Admission to each guest lecture is $5, but additional tax-deductible donations to the NACC will be greatly appreciated. Seating is limited and advance reservations are recommended.
