NORTH ATTLEBORO - North TV will celebrate its third anniversary this month by launching an all new lineup for its education television channel.New programming will debut March 16 on cable Channel 9, the town's cable access TV station for education-related shows. The channel is being called "The New Nine," North TV Executive Director Peter Gay said. North TV recently hired Trevor Bowman to handle the programming for the education channel. Among the programs taped recently were the Allen Avenue School talent show, the North Attleboro High School cheerleading competition, and even behind the scenes tours of individual schools. Other innovative programs, such as a College Bowl-type competition between schools, are also under consideration. "It's been our goal to not only expand the quantity of programs but the quality of programs, as well," Gay said. "Under Trevor's leadership, I think this will be the top education channel in the state of Massachusetts." A list of programming will be available at North TV's Web site, www.northtv.net.
