Andrew DiFonzo

ATTLEBORO - Army private Andrew M. DiFonzo recently graduated from the 787th Military Police Battalion at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.

DiFonzo, a 2008 graduate of Attleboro High School, is the son of Alice M. DiFonzo, and Anthony J. DiFonzo, of Attleboro.

During the 19-week program, DiFonzo studied the history, tradition and core values of the army. He was trained in police methods, both in the classroom and on the field, providing support on the battlefield by conducting area security, internment, maneuver and mobility support, law and order, and police intelligence operation.

DiFonzo is currently stationed at Fort Carson, Colo., where he continues training before deploying to Afghanistan in May.
