Here are April 18-19 sermon topics and services

Attleboro - All Saints Anglican Church, 1188 South Main St., Attleboro, invites you to worship this Sunday, at 8 and 10 a.m., with Rev. Lance Giuffrida, who will give the sermon. Readings from Acts 4:32-35; Psalm 133; 1 John 1:1-2:2; and John 20:19-31. A Fast Mass Saturday is held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday school for the children is at 10:30 a.m. Coffee hour at 9 a.m. and noon.

All Saints Episcopal Church, Rev. Bailey O. Whitbeck will preside over the sermon at 10 a.m. with text from Acts 3:12-19; Psalm 4; 1 John 3:1-7; Luke 24:36b-48. Sunday school will be at 10 a.m. Nursery care provided. Coffee hour follows service. Sunday school also starts at 10 a.m.

Attleboro Advent Christian Church, Pastor Bob Hett will lead a 10 a.m. worship service with a sermon entitled, "It's All About the Kingdom," with text from Philippians 2:1-11. The sermon will be coupled with the annual "Crusade for Missions."

Candleberry Chapel, Saturday services at 5 p.m., Sunday services at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Kenneth Boyle will lead a sermon "These Are My Hands," with text from Psalm 146: 1 - 10.

Centenary United Methodist Church, Rev. Nancy Collins' sermon is at 10 a.m.

Congregation Agudas Achim, will be having a Shabbat (Sabbath) morning service, with the Joseph Fine bar mitzvah at 10 a.m. This Saturday there is Mishneh class at 9 a.m. Every Friday there is a Shabbat evening service at 7:30. On Friday, April 24, there will be Shabbat evening service in the round at 7:30 p.m.

Evangelical Covenant Church, 841 North Main St., Attleboro, 8:30 a.m., worship; 9:30 a.m., Sunday school; 10:45 a.m., worship. Rev. Douglas J. Bixby, senior pastor; Rev. Jay Fast, associate pastor for Youth and Family Ministries; Julie Stevens, minister of music. This week's sermon's title is "Show Me the Risen Lord," with text from Acts 4:32-35-John 20:19-31.

Faith Alliance Church, The worship service will be held at 9 and 10:45 a.m. The service and sermon with Rev. Don Wiegand will feature "Go Fish, Because of What's on the Line," Part 1 with scripture Mark 1:14-20.

First Baptist Church, Sermon "Witnessing to the Resurrection: Caring for God's Creation," with text from Romans 8:18-25 and John 20:19-31, with Rev. John Fisk. Worship at 10:45 a.m. and Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

First Church of Christ Scientist, Sermon topic is "Doctrine of Atonement," with text from the Bible and "Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Sunday service, Sunday school and nursery at 10 a.m. A testimonial service is held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Good News Bible Chapel, The church will hold a "Lord's Supper" service every Sunday at 9 a.m. "Celebration and Growth" worship and teaching service and Sunday school for children 4-5 are held at 10:45 a.m.

Immanuel Lutheran Church, The sermon will be based on appointed texts with the Rev. Julia Haspel-Schoenfeld presiding. Worship with Holy Communion will be held at 8 and 10 a.m., with Christian education at 9 a.m. The church's youth group meets the first and third Sundays of the month at 7 p.m.

LaSalette Shrine, will be having a Saturday Mass at 4:30 p.m. followed by a healing service with Richard McAclear and adoration until 11:30 p.m. On Sunday there will be adoration from 8 to 11 a.m., the Divine Mercy Film in the Welcome Center at 10:30 a.m. and noon, and Sunday Mass at 2 p.m.

Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, Rev. Sandra D. Fitz-Henry will lead a service entitled "Genesis of Prayer" to be held at 10 a.m. Church school and nursery care held at 10 a.m. The religious services committee will feature different Unitarian Universalist perspectives on prayer.

New Covenant Christian Fellowship, Teaching Pastor, Chap Bettis will speak at the services at 9:30 a.m.

Second Congregational Church of Attleboro-UCC, A sermon by Rev. F. Vernon Wright V, "Forgiveness: A Gift of Great Power," with text from Psalm 133 and John 20: 19 - 31 will be held at 10 am.

South Attleboro Assembly of God, The sermon "The Power of Courage" will be led by Rev. Ronald Squibb and will feature text from Daniel 3: 8-30. Morning services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Evening service at 6 p.m. Christian education classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m.

St. James African Community Church, will have a sermon by Rev. Paul Mwaniki at 11:30 a.m. Services are held at the new location, 65 Bank St., Attleboro.

St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish, will feature a Saturday Vigil Mass at 4 p.m., Sunday Masses at 8, 10, and 11:30 a.m.

Cumberland, R.I.

Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, The church, located at 690 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland, R.I., will conduct worship at the times of 9 and 10:30 a.m. A coffee fellowship is at 11:30 a.m. Communion will be served weekly at the 9 a.m. service and Sunday School will be held concurrently with the 10:30 service.

Cumberland Seventh Day Adventist Church, will have a service Saturday at 11 a.m. Sabbath School will take place at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join a vegetarian lunch after service.

Foxboro

Bethany Congregational Church, Traditional Sunday morning worship service will be held at 9:15 a.m., and informal service will be held at 10:45 a.m., both in the meeting house. Children join the church for the beginning of the worship service, and then are dismissed partway through for their church school classes. Child care is available for children up to age 3 in the nursery.

Foxborough Universalist Church, Minister Katie Lawson will lead the annual Earth Day service at 10 a.m. Children in religious education will participate in their annual Earth Day cleanup project. Friendship hour follows. There will be a Special business meeting after the friendship hour.

Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, The church holds a contemporary worship service at 8:30 a.m., Christian education starts at 9:45 a.m. and a traditional worship service starts at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rick Schlak. Fellowship hour is held at 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. The two worship services will feature holy communion.

St. Mark's Episcopal Church, services meet at 7:45 and 9:45 a.m. with scripture John 20:19-31, the story of Jesus's first visit to the disciples after his resurrection. Both services have Holy Communion. Child care available for 9:45 service. Church school for ages 3 to 11, adult programs at 11 a.m., youth education Sun. afternoon. Will be celebrating the Holy Baptism during the second service.

Union Church, has Sunday morning worship at 8:30 and 11 a.m given by Rev. Bill Dudley. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

Franklin

Anglican Church of the Redeemer, will have a Sunday worship at 10 a.m. at the Franklin High School. The Rev. Jack Potter will preach the sermon that meets at 8:30. Church school for ages pre-school through high school at 10 a.m.

Mansfield

Congregational Church of Mansfield, Sunday morning worship with a service entitled "OTRWJ: Proof Positive," with text from John 20:19-31. Church school at 10 a.m. Youth choir 10 a.m. Focal text is "Unless I See..." The acronym stands for "On The Road With Jesus," which is the Easter season theme.

Faith Fellowship United Methodist Church, The services, under the direction of Pastor David Arruda, are held as follows: A casual service at 5 p.m. on Saturday, family worship and Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and a worship service at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

First Christian Church, The worship service will feature "Walk in Love," with texts Ephesians 5:1-7 with Pastor Brian Pendleton. Service at 10:30 a.m. Mid-week service on Wed., 7 p.m.

St. Mary's Parish Family, will be have Saturday Vigil at 4 and 5:30 p.m. and Mass on Sunday at 7:30, 9, 10:30, Noon and 5 p.m. with Acts 4:32-35/1 Jn 5:1-6/Jn 20:19-31.

Norfolk

Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sunday worship service at 8 and 10:45 a.m., Senior Pastor Rev. John C. Ames is preaching a service entitled "Resurrection Living," with text from Colossians 3:1-17.

Federated Church of Norfolk, Rev. Scott Cousineau will lead a sermon entitled "You Call That a Church?!" with text from John 20:19-31. Service takes place at 10 a.m. Praise and Worship choir will also be participating. Sunday school and nursery care available.

North Attleboro

Central Congregational Church, Worship will be held at 8:30 and 10 a.m., with a sermon "Made Like Him, Like Him, We Rise" with Scripture from I Corinthians 15:1-19 and be led by Rev. Carole L. Baker. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. in the Margaret Kay Fellowship Hall. Nursery care is available during the 10 a.m. service.

Cushman Union Church, The sermon, "The Task Ahead," will be led by Jay Hobson, deacon and feature text from Matthew 28:16-20. The service will start at 10:15 a.m. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m.

First Baptist Church, The worship service will be held at 10 a.m. and the service will be led by Rev. Robert Middleton. A time of fellowship will take place during the service. Children's classes at 10:20.

First Congregational Church, The traditional 10 a.m. Sunday morning service with Rev. Katrina Clinton will continue this week with "Family Sunday."

First United Methodist Church, Guest speaker Patricia Parent will conduct the sermon "We Will Walk This Way Together," with readings from John 17:1-12. Service at 10:45 a.m. Native American worship style with guest speaker Pat Parent is Saturday 4 p.m.

Grace Episcopal Church, The sermon will be led by Rev. Maryalice Sullivan. Holy Eucharist service is offered on Saturdays at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 and 10 a.m. A Holy Eucharist and Healing service is offered on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.

John Wesley A.M.E. Zion Church, Sermon with selected text held at 11 a.m. with Rev. L. Allen Powell. The church is located at 32 Broad St., North Attleboro.

Living Waters Christian Church, Services will be held at 9 and 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tim Hatch preaching a sermon, "Monster's Inc. - How Fear Feeds our Biggest Foes," with text 1 Samuel 17. This is part 1 of a new series "There's A Monster in My Closet - Facing Fear with Faith." Coffee Cafe is open before during and after services.

North Dighton

North Christian Church, The sermon will be presided over by Pastor Michael Del Tatto at 9:30 a.m. The sermon title is "Jesus Opened My Eyes on the Road to Emmaus," with text from Luke 24: 13-35. Sunday school will be provided during the service; a nursery is also available.

Norton

Chartley/Norton United Methodist Church, The sermon will feature selected text, with Pastor Thom Demers and Rev. D.S. Dharmapalan and will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School is during worship and bible study is at 9:30 a.m.

New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, located at 1 George St., at the corner of George Street and Route 106, in Plainville, will hold church services on Sunday at 10 a.m. and Sunday night prayer revival at 7 p.m.

Plainville Baptist Church, Sermon topic with Pastor Dave Meunier will be preaching this weekend's sermon "Follow through in Your Faith" with text from John 3:16-19 and Matthew 28:19-20. Services are at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the Plainville Baptist Church on South Street.

Plainville United Methodist Church, The 9 a.m. worship service, "We Will Walk This Way Together," will be led by guest speaker Patricia Parent and feature readings from John 17:1-12.

Providence

Vedanta Society of Providence, "Three Steps to Illumination" by Swami Yogatmananda will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday. All welcome. Donations accepted. Every Friday, there is a talk/presentation at 7:30. Sikh devotional music with Sabad will be held this Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Rehoboth

Christian Life Church, The church, located on 222 Plain St., will feature an 8:30 a.m. prayer and a 9:30 a.m. service.

First Spiritualist Church of Brockton, healing service at 10 a.m. Located in Anawan Grange in Rehoboth.

Rehoboth Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Sunday services at 8:30 and 10 a.m., with children's Sunday school. The sermon will be led by Rev. Scott Spencer.

Seekonk

Memorial Baptist Church, Services are every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Sunday school classes at 8:45 a.m.
