George and Agnes Fountas celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on Feb. 19, 2009.

The couple has two children: Dr. George N. Fountas and Dr. Diane L. Fountas.

They also have one grandchild, Jessica Malionek, and three great-grandchildren: Zoe, Brayden and Elias.

The couple lives in Attleboro with their terrier, Cloe.
