Seventy-two arrested during 311 concert

MANSFIELD - Seventy-two people were arrested or taken into custody at the 311 concert at the Comcast Center Monday night, mostly for alcohol violations.

Most were in their late teens and early 20s, but two were juveniles charged with public intoxication, Mansfield police said.

Most of the offenses were for possession of alcohol under 21 years of age and being a public intoxicant. A few were charged with drug offenses and identification violations, police said.

Nearly all are from Massachusetts, including 15 from the Attleboro area.

311 is a popular alternative rock band from Omaha, Neb.
