Warddell E. Giles, 75

ATTLEBORO - Warddell E. Giles, 75, of Oakhill Avenue died Tuesday at home.

He was the husband of Lois I. (Lovejoy) Giles.

He was born in Attleboro a son of the late Warddell A. and Lillian B. (Smith) Giles. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was a machine operator for the Robbins Company for over ten years, and was also a driver for special needs children for over 7 years.

He has lived in Attleboro for over 50 years coming from Rehoboth.

Mr. Giles loved to spend time with his Yorkshire terrier "Coco," liked birds, and also collected coins, enjoyed fishing and nature.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son Timothy E. Giles of Spring Hill Florida, 2 daughters Debra Giles of Attleboro, Cynthia Silveira of Pawtucket RI, 2 sisters Thelma Allard of Attleboro and Carolyn Grant of Taunton, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 160 Park St., Attleboro.

Burial will follow in the Newell Burying Ground Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Patricia A. Keeler, 73

ATTLEBORO - Patricia A. (Houghton) Keeler, 73, of Attleboro passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 7, 2009 at home. She was the beloved wife of Clifford F. Keeler. Born in Mansfield, MA on October 15, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Cornelius and Jessie E. (Babb) Houghton.

Pat grew up in Mansfield, was educated in Mansfield public schools and was a graduate of Mansfield High School.

She had been employed as a bookkeeper for the Norton School Department before retiring and had formerly worked for many years as a cashier at the former Fernandes Supermarket in Norton where she was quite popular with store customers.

A person who had a special love for God, Pat had attended the Word of Truth Baptist Church in Attleboro.

She was a very caring person and was happiest when she was able to help others. Her favorite times spent were those in the presence of her adoring grandsons and she was so excited when the newest arrival of her family, her great grandson William was around her.

A New England sports enthusiast, she was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and golfing legend Tiger Woods. Mrs. Keeler and her husband Cliff shared an enthusiasm for trains, and they especially enjoyed traveling by way of locomotive.

She was John Wayne's number one fan and was quite proud of her John Wayne clock. She liked playing computer games and her family will always remember how she loved Coca-Cola, but only when served from a glass bottle.

She had made her home in Attleboro for almost 30 years and was a former Taunton, Norton and Mansfield resident.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her devoted children William A. Gouveia and his wife Cynthia of Norton, Paul M. Gouveia and his wife Darleen of North Dighton and the late Patricia A. Gouveia who passed away on Dec. 16, 2004. She was the sister of John Houghton of California, Carol Leathers of Louisiana and was the cherished grandmother of Aaron Gouveia and his wife Martha Jean of Bourne and Nathan Gouveia of Norton. She is also survived by her dear great grandson William Gouveia of Bourne, several nieces and nephews and Scott Cocinkos of Norton to whom she served as a legal guardian and loving caregiver.

Memorial services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, June 13 at 10 a.m. in the Word of Truth Baptist Church, 171 Union St., Attleboro. Private burial will be held at a later date in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.

Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Patricia with a donation in her memory made to the charity of one's choice.

Josh P. Kohansky, 35

MILFORD - Josh P. Kohansky of Milford, where he has lived for three years, died suddenly, Monday, June 8, 2009 at his home. He was 35.

Born in Boston, he was the son of Lynn A. McDonough and her husband Frank of Norfolk, and William Kohansky of Rota, Spain.

A former longtime resident of Norfolk, he was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, Class of 1992.

An active bodybuilder, he was the owner of 117 Fitness in Leominster.

A former Boy Scout in Norfolk, he played hockey for Bishop Feehan High School, and was a former altar boy at St. Jude's Church in Norfolk.

Following high school he enlisted in the U. S. Coast Guard, where he served 2 enlistments, ending in Chatham.

He was the devoted father of Derek S. Kohansky of No. Attleboro. He was the brother of Matthew Kohansky and his fiance Anna Fisher, Ryan McDonough and Luke McDonough, all of South Boston. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Anna and Will Powell of Milton, his aunts Deborah Powell and Dotty Grant of No. Attleboro, Kathleen O'Leary of So. Boston, and Eileen Morrell and Sister Maureen McDonough O'Carm of Framingham; his former wife Heather Barrows, and his companion Rhonda Birmingham of Natick, and many cousins and friends.

Visiting hours at the R. J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St. Route 1A, Wrentham, will be on Friday, June 12, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Jude's Church, 86 Main St. Norfolk, MA. Burial will be in Norfolk Cemetery.

Anne M. Titcomb, 78

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Anne M. (Bova) Titcomb, 78, of East Washington St. died Saturday at the Kindred Northeast Specialty Hospital in Stoughton.

She was the wife of the late Harold W. Titcomb Sr.

She was born in Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Andrew and Rose Bova.

She was a school bus driver for the Laidlaw Company, and also manufactured jewelry for Balfour for many years.

She has lived in North Attleboro since 2002 coming from Attleboro,

Anne enjoyed spending time at LaSalette Shrine, liked computers, and birds.

She is survived by a son Harold W. Titcomb Jr. of North Attleboro, a daughter Carolyn A. Manton of Attleboro, a sister Etta Kasputes of Plainfield, Conn., and three nieces, Gail, Linda and Eileen. She was the grandmother of Bradford, Timothy and Albert Manton, and the great-grandmother of Kayla, Ashlee, Ethan and Jackson.

Her funeral services are private.

Rose M. Dube, 99

REHOBOTH - Rose M. Dube, 99, of Rocky Hill Road, died Tuesday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Henri Dube.

She was born in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Delphis and Delina (Thibault) Gendron. She has lived in Rehoboth for the last 67 years.

She had been employed at Whiting & Davis for 10 years, previously working for Bates & Klinke for 34 years.

She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed crocheting.

She also was a member of the Rehoboth Senior Citizens and had been very active in Church functions at St. Stephen's Church.

She leaves 2 daughters, Gloria M. Sadlier and Pauline M. Carpenter and a brother Aime and his wife Edith Gendron, all of Rehoboth, and a sister, Lillian Breault, of Taunton. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Lynn Marie Pigeon and her husband Tim of Attleboro, Holly Hicks and her husband James of No. Attleboro, Matthew Sadlier of Attleboro and Donald Carpenter and his wife Carminda of Rehoboth and 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the R.W. Chatigny Funeral Home, at 151 Cross Street Central Falls, R.I., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stephen's Church So. Main St. Attleboro at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
