Obituaries were published for Joan M. Roberge, 71, of Attleboro and Anthony T. Rago, 56, of Attleboro.

Joan M. Roberge, 71

ATTLEBORO
- Joan M. (DesLauriers) Roberge, 71, of Attleboro passed away on Saturday June 20, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro. She was the wife of seventeen years to Donald F. Roberge.

Joan was born in Attleboro the daughter of the late Homodis B. and Flora A. (Jutras) DesLauriers.

She worked as a cashier for Stop & Shop in Attleboro for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and taking trips to the beach in Narragansett, RI.

Survivors beside her husband are three daughters Doreen Roberts of Russellville, Arkansas; Tracie Meeks of Baytown, Texas; Shannon Stringfellow of Columbus, Georgia; a brother Robert DesLauriers of Attleboro, MA; two step-sons Gary Roberge of Tolland, Connecticut and Michael Roberge of Attleboro, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Burial is private at the family's request. Calling hours are prior to service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Anthony T. 'Buddy' Rago, 56

ATTLEBORO
- Anthony T. "Buddy" Rago, also known as "Tony" to his co-workers and friends, 56, of Mendon Road, South Attleboro passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 19, 2009 at home. He was the former husband of Cheryl (Dupree) Wolf of PA.

Born in New York City on February 5, 1953, Buddy was a son of the late Anthony and Johanna (McCormack) Rago. He was raised and educated in New York City and was a graduate of Power Memorial Catholic High School, NYC, Class of 1972.

Buddy was employed for the past four years at Eastern Wholesale Electric Supply Company in North Attleboro where he assisted at the trade counter and in the warehouse. Earlier Buddy was employed at the Ames Warehouse in Mansfield and was also a welder for over ten years at the Metaloy Company in Wrentham.

Buddy formerly resided for twelve years on Tarklyn Street in North Attleboro and resided the past six months at his sister's residence, Anne Jolly, who cared for him during his illness. Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed collecting baseball cards over the decades.

In addition to his former wife, Cheryl, Buddy is survived by a step-son: Eric Dupree of Foxboro; his loving caregiver and sister: Anne M. Jolly of South Attleboro; a niece: Julie A. Jolly of South Attleboro; a nephew: Stephen A. Jolly and his wife Kristina of North Attleboro; a grand-niece: Ava K. Jolly; and many cousins in Wrentham, New York, New Jersey and Texas.

At the request of the family, all funeral services are private. Visitation is respectfully omitted.
