Top Headlines Victor Levar Hardmon, 27 ATTLEBORO - Victor Levar Hardmon, 27, of Sixth Street, Attleboro, died on Monday, June 22, 2009 after having falling into Damariscotta Lake in Jefferson, Maine the previous day when his canoe capsized while on a fishing vacation. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 26, 1981, he was a son of Elder Richard C. Hardmon, Sr. and the Rev. C. M. (Garvin) Hardmon of Attleboro and Victoria Leslie Hardmon-Anderson of St. Petersburg, Florida. He resided in Boston until moving to Attleboro in 1988. He was a 2000 graduate of Attleboro High School. Mr. Hardmon was employed as a warehouse associate for Rexel CLS in Mansfield for more than two years. Previously he was employed at Auto Parts International in Foxboro. He was a 2000 graduate of Attleboro High School. An ardent fisherman, he died doing what he enjoyed. He will be lovingly remembered for his heart and wit and his outgoing personality that always made people smile. "He was a really humorous kid. He was very funny and could make anybody laugh," said one friend. In addition to his parents, he leaves his siblings: Laquina Fladger of Somerset, New Jersey; Larry Garvin of Attleboro; Richard Hardmon Jr. of Rehoboth: Keeron Hardmon of Attleboro; Jermaine Hardmon of Orlando, Florida and Sha'-Kara Hardmon of Attleboro; his loving daughter: Kira Leslie Hardmon-Palmer of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; his fiance: Adrienne Bragg, who was his soulmate, of Norton; two nieces; three nephews and a host of extended family members and loved ones. He was the God Brother of Amin K. D. Neal of Taunton and Lynette K. Davis of Mansfield. He was the grandson of Andy and Sandra Anderson of Birmingham, Alabama and Edwin and Beatrice Yearwood of Hartford, Connecticut and the late Joan E. (Miller) Hardmon and Willy H. Hardmon, Sr. and William Dickerson, Sr. and Alma Dickerson. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, June 26, 2009 - and to celebrate what would have been Victor's 28th birthday - from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, 3/4 mile on left), Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. (Anderson) Gaudet, age 79, died on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham. She was the daughter of Eric N. and Anna J. (Rudberg) Anderson. Betty was born on her family farm in Foxboro on July 27, 1929 and attended Foxboro High School. She and her husband, former Foxboro Chief of Police John Gaudet were married in Foxboro on December 20, 1950. Beloved sister of Doris Beach of Onset and the late Mildred Bolduc, Edith Davis, Harold Anderson, Evelyn Glennon, Pricilla Perry and Philip Anderson. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. 'Chuck' Kiesel, 70 SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Charles A. "Chuck" Kiesel, 70, died Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of Donna M. (Picillo) Kiesel. Born in Flint, Michigan, he was a son of the late Arthur Robert August and Charlene (Moery) Kiesel. He earned a B.A. in business and economics from the University of Michigan, a certificate degree in banking from Northwestern University and attended law school at Detroit College of Law for two years. Mr. Kiesel currently was a consultant to the jewelry industry. He also was a former vice president of international sales and director of inside sales, logistics and inventory control for the Leach & Garner Company, North Attleboro, MA. from 1994 to 2008. Prior to Leach & Garner he worked at Consolidated Jewelry Company, Catamore Jewelry Company and Cohen-Hatfield Industries, Inc. Chuck was a past director of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, member of the Providence Jewelers Association, member of the Manufacturers Jewelers and Silversmiths Association, member of the International Precious Metals Institute, past member of the Warwick and Wannamoisett Country Club, a member of the Kirkbrae Country Club and past member of the friends association of the RI Philharmonic. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter Cheryl Morrill of Sandy Hook, Ct., one son Charles A. Kiesel, II of Rock Hill, Ct., one brother Gene Kiesel of Grand Blanc, Michigan, and four grandchildren Allison and Robbie Morrill, Brett and Ben Kiesel. Lillian Jessie Reed, 89 TAUNTON - Lillian Jessie (Stott) Reed, a Taunton resident most of her life, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Taunton Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was 89 years of age. She was the wife of the late Henry Reed. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Louise (McNearney) Stott. Mrs. Reed worked as a cafeteria worker for Pole School for over 20 years, retiring in 1993. She was a Taunton High School graduate, class of 1938. Before moving to Taunton at a younger age she was raised in Rehoboth. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by seven children, Russell Reed of Blandford ME, Joanne Andrews of Basom, NY, Rosemary Sanborn of ME, Albert Reed of Taunton, Brenda Henshaw of Taunton, Nancy McGovern of Taunton and Henry "Mike" Reed of Norton, and the late Arthur Reed. She also leaves two sisters Doris Stott of Warwick, R.I., and June Becker of East Taunton, and the late Mary Hatton, Estelle Bettencourt, Ruth Bettencourt, Edith Steadman. She was also the loving sister of six late brothers Walter, Albert, Elmer, Lester, David, and Matthew Stott. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Reed's funeral services will be held Thursday June 25, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St. (off Tremont St.). Reino of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on June 12, 2009 at his home due to heart failure. John was born on August 12, 1948 in Brockton Ma., to the late Dominic and Margaret Reino. He resided in the Attleboro area where he was employed at Handy and Harman in Attleboro and Metalor in North Attleboro before moving to Winter Haven. John was an avid sports fan whose greatest day in sports was the day the Red Sox won their World Series. Mr. Reino is survived by his wife, of 35 years, Sandra Sherry Reino: daughters Jennifer B. Reino of Attleboro and Amanda J. Muller of Chepachet, R.I.; grandchildren: Michael, Jacob, Isabella and Olivia Pacheco of Attleboro and Sophie and Catherine Muller of Chepachet; sister: Anne Marie Pelchar; brother: Richard L. Reino of Brockton, MA; three nieces and five nephews and Michael G. Pacheco of Attleboro, fiance of Jennifer. There will be a Mass at St. Patrick's Church on Main Street in Brockton, MA on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 9 a.m. Burial will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
