Richard relished time with friends while also enjoying some of his various hobbies like hunting, cooking, and watching Chinese soap operas. He was an avid world traveler, visiting such destinations as China, Greece, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and Russia. He loved the tranquility of Cape Cod and spent many summers tending to his fruit trees, boating, fishing and cruising in his golf cart. His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving.
