REHOBOTH - An Abington man, allegedly intoxicated on prescription drugs, has been charged in a rear-end crash on Route 44 Friday night.

Stephen McCann, 51, of Abington, was arraigned Monday in Taunton District Court. Police charged McCann with driving under the influence of drugs and driving to endanger, Police Chief Stephen Enos said Monday.

The crash happened about 9 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Route 44 and New Street. The driver of the other vehicle was treated for minor injuries, Enos said.
